Asociación Cluster Construcción Sostenible (CCS), Spain

 

 

 

The Sustainable Building Cluster was founded in 2011 as a non-profit organisation under the auspices of the Canary Agency of Research and Research, Innovation and Information Society (ACIISI) with its head office located in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain. Since 2014 is Bronze Medal and this 2017 is aspiring to attain Silver Medal from the European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis.

CCS is one of the leading institutions of Canary Islands in the fields of building efficiency, bioclimatic housing, and smart and sustainable building, with experience in various European and national R&D projects. It is active in a specific number of research domains such as energy efficiency in buildings, healthy buildings, sustainability in building and smart building.

CCS has participated in two European Commission (FP7 & H2020) and more than 15 research projects funded by Spanish National Industry Ministry as well as Canary Islands Government. In addition, provides service in consulting with the private and public sector. The last five years, CCS has attracted an income of 1M€ from regional, national and European competitive R&D projects.
